Hi,

My name is Richard and I live in Swanscombe, Kent, England. I received a “USB Wireless Weather Forecaster with Touchscreen” for Christmas something I have wanted for some time.

I set it up yesterday and all appears to be working fine with the kit, i.e. the touch screen is logging the data and the Easy Weather software the unit came with is reading from the touch screen base station via USB perfectly.

However I have just downloaded Cumulus 1.9.2 and I am not sure how to get it to read data from the base station.

Does anyone on here have one of these units? Can you send me a screen dump of the setup page in Cumulus or tell me how to get Cumulus to read from the base station via USB.

Regards

The minimum you need to do is select 'Fine Offset' for the station type when you first run Cumulus. You should also decide what units you want to use and select those at this time. Then, assuming your station is working correctly and you're not trying to run Easyweather at the same time, Cumulus will start reading data from the station. If it doesn't, try restarting Cumulus. If it still doesn't, zip up the Cumulus diags folder and attach it.

Hi,

All working OK with 'Fine Offset' as the device, just have to work out how to publish the results on the web now.
