Help on how to customise the twitter message.

Hi,

I just need a bit of clarification on customising the default twitter message that
gets generated automatically and sent to twitter.

I currently have the option selected in Cumulus to send the default message
to twitter, but I would like to pre-fix the message with the words "Current Conditions:"

Example of "Default" message currently being sent to Twitter:
Wind 8.9 mph WNW. Barometer 1019.4 hPa, Falling slowly. Temperature 9.2 °C. Rain today 0.0 mm. Humidity 62%

What I would like to have displayed is:
Current Conditions: Wind 8.9 mph WNW. Barometer 1019.4 hPa, Falling slowly. Temperature 9.2 °C. Rain today 0.0 mm. Humidity 62%
To do this will I just need to create a txt file called twitter.txt and in it put the words "Current Conditions:"
then save it to my Cumulus folder? Or would this just then display the words Current Conditions:
and not have any of the other information displayed?

If this is so, has anyone got the string of Webtags that is used to generate the default twitter message that
I can modify to include the "Current Conditions:" text to.

Thanks in advance,

Mark

As you said make a txt file called twitter.txt and get cumulus to upload via the settings.

but you need to put it in this format

Current Conditions: <#temp>°C HiTemp today: <#tempTH>°C Wind: <#wspeed>mph WindGust: <#wgustTM> mph Windchill : <#wchill>°C Rain Today: <#rfall> mm

keeping it under 160 chars.

Or read the wiki as posted while i was typing lol :)

Thankyou both for your replies.

I did have a look on the Forum and a quick scan on the Wiki, but
must have missed the section detailing it.

I will have a go and see what happens.

Thanks again.

Just to let you know after trying different configurations I have finally updated
my Twitter feed with the information as I would like it displayed.

I went for the following webtags etc..
<#timehhmmss>: Wind <#wspeed> <#windunit> <#wdir>, WindRun <#windrun>mi. Barometer <#press> <#pressunit>, <#presstrend>. Temperature <#temp> <#tempunit>. Rain today <#rfall> <#rainunit>. Humidity <#hum>%
Which gives me:
16:36:01: Wind 6.2 mph WSW, WindRun 137.8mi. Barometer 1020.7 hPa, Rising slowly. Temperature 6.4 °C. Rain today 0.0 mm. Humidity 69%
Cheers,

Mark
