Cumulus won't stay open

I installed Cumulus yesterday & connected it to my Davis Vantage Vue.
All seemed to go well but today when I connect my DVV & start Cumulus it starts up, shows a dialogue box "Downloading Date" then disappears, presumably it closes down?
I am a technological imbecile so it is probably my fault.
Anybody got any suggestions?

Have you perhaps configured it to start minimised? Is it showing in task manager? If it doesn't seem to be running, zip up the diags folder and attach it.

Greetings from a cloudy but warm Sydney Steve. Thanks for taking the time to reply, I really appreciate it.
I decided to delete both Cumulus & Weatherlink from my PC yesterday & re-loaded Cumulus (only) again. It now appears to be working well.
Will they both work on the same PC or could the "competition" between them have been a cause for some of the problem?

Yes they will both work on the same PC
but not at the same time. You must stop one before starting the other unless you get Virtual VP which is another program that you can purchase.
