Cumulus won't upload to correct folder.......

My site provider requires that I put my sites into "/home/XXXXXX/public_html". However, when I tell Cumulus to upload to this directory it puts them into "/home/XXXXXX".
If I ftp all the files using filezilla into "/home/XXXXXX/public_html" the site appears but obviously does not update.
Any ideas?

FTP servers often behave in unexpected ways if you try to change to a directory using an absolute path - one starting with a 'slash'. You need to work out what the relative path is from the point where you log in. The fact that the files get dropped into /home/XXXXXX when the change directory fails suggests that's your 'home' directory when you log in, so you need to put 'public_html' for the ftp directory.

Hi Steve,
As usual thanks for your speedy answer. Works fine with just public_html.
Merry Xmas.
