Newbie, please be gentle!

I haver just installed cumulus software and i am trying to set my lat long. alt.

My lat 51.3159 works ok. When I enter my long (-0.76533) entered as 007653 west and exit. When I restart Cumulus the lat is fine but the long has changed to 11563 west
How do I alter my lat long to suit Cumulus.

You have to enter your co-ordinates as degrees/minutes/seconds. It sounds like you're trying to force decimal degrees in somehow. Longitude -0.76533 is 0 deg 45 min 55 sec West. Latitude 51.3159 needs to be entered as 51 deg 18 min 57 sec North.
