Strange things happening with my N96GY From Maplins

Hi Everyone

Wonder if anyone has come across this before.
I recently bought a W96GY Wireless weather station from Maplins, everything seemed to be ok for 2 Days and now its started playing up.
The Outside Temperature and windspeed,Rain etc disappears from the Screen, the Sensor symbol lights up for ages and the Wind speed is constantly on North
I have changed the Batteries in the House Unit, reset it, reinstalled Easy weather and its still the Same.
Surely after 3-4 Days use it could not have broken.
Im using Duracell batteries on Outside and Inside Unit
The wind speed displayed on the House unit is different to the Display on Cumulus and Easy weather and its starting to annoy me now.

Anyone any suggestions ?

it might well have broken after such a short time return it for a replacement if they still have one

You are not running Easy Weather & Cumulus at the same time are you?

It is possible that it has died. Any new item is more likely to fail early in its life. Maplin's customer service is very good, so take it back if it's not working correctly and get a replacement.

I have Easy Weather and Cumulus installed, but dont run them at same time.
Spoke to Maplins this morning, they are out of stock and are not getting anymore till end of February, so going to return it and get my money back
Going to go for a
WH3080 Wireless Weather Station , anyone know if its better than the one I have, reviews look ok?

A few people here have had some problems with that one, if I were buying another I would get the same one again.
