Never seen it look this erratic before.

Yesterday i took the station down as the Anemometer was not spinning freely, it felt gritty so i cleaned it out till it span more freely with no friction. Put it back up and today im looking at the data, the beginning is what i would usually see but the latter part of the graphs i have never seen anything like it ever.

That is normal after Cumulus has been restarted. The lefthand side of the graphs is sparsely populated with only the data that has been recorded in the data files (at your logging interval), the right hand side is live data and plotted every minute.

Aso see the FAQ for the wind graph.

Hi,

Yes you're obvioulsy only logging data with the default 30 minutes period. This can be set down to as low as 5 minutes (using the easyweather software) if you wish.

To make the (average) wind speed graph look "cleaner" when Cumulus is running, you can set BOTH the "Calculate 10-min wind average" and "Use speed for avg calculation" flags in : Configuration : Station (settings).

Cheers, Alan.
