Longer leads for fine offset / watson weather stations

Post by hectic »

Can anyone tell me if i can get or where I can get some longer leads from the wind and direction indicators to the sensor.
This is so I can get my windspeed and direction indicators up higher whilst keeping the temp and rain sensors near the ground.
I hope this makes sense.

There is some info in this thread: https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=4894
or you could make your own, crimping tools are quite cheap these days, I bought the bits from Maplin and made one.

Hi Richard,

There are plenty of sources of readymade RJ11 cables on ebay or from specialist suppliers such as kenable (who also sell on ebay). Here is a recent thread where I gave rather more information.

Cheers, Alan.
