Anemometer died

Post by mraviator »

My Anemometer died after 1.5 usage. Either that, or it does not transmit wind speed or direction anymore.

Anybody else have this issue?

wind speed and direction are 2 different sensors. If both are out you either have a cable cut or the transmitter is not working properly.

thanks. Looks like I have a different issue. Bearings are shot. Even lubing them does not work.

Hi,

The bearing is a standard size (10mm o/d, etc.) so can be purchased for a few Pounds/Dollars/Euros from various suppliers, depending on your location.

Cheers, Alan.
