Cumulus 1.9.2 update onto web server

Hey I have just updated to cumulus 1.9.2 and it does not seem to be refreshing on my web server. Is there files that I need to transfer through filezilla to the FTP so that it configures and updates? A bit stuck with this.

I tried copying the new files through Filezilla but site still says powered by cumulus 1.9.1 and is stuck at 20.55 last night

You don't need to do any further manual configuration to your web site when you upgrade from 1.9.1 to 1.9.2. Similarly, assuming you installed 1.9.2 to the same place as you had 1.9.1 installed, all of your configuration setting will be retained.

Have you checked your internet settings (in Cumulus) to make sure they are still the same?

Hi guys have tried to install it all again but all I get is this screen sayin Index then a list of directories. What am I missing?

You got the stuff set up that you need to do manually, what you're missing are the files which Cumulus uploads. Probably the best way forward is to show a screen shot of your internet settings page. You could also turn on ftp logging and attach the ftplog.txt file.

You have a DNS problem (or a configuration problem at freeglo). I can ftp to ftp.auchterderranweather.freeglo.net fine, but your system has resolved that to 93.184.220.23, and I can't connect to that. The correct IP address appears to be 207.45.177.194.

Hi I have added all the files I think I need but heres the problem. When I uploaded all the updates on my Laptop running vista through filezilla it works perfect but I have the same settings on my desktop which I use to upload to internet but it is not updating and keeps saying FTP Connect Error code=10004. The desktop runs xp but has had no problems with uploading to server before. Any ideas

Hi steve no joy there. Tryed the sever IP for glovine which is 207.45.178.162 and also tryed the one u said without luck. Its just frustrating and bizarre as it works perfect on laptop and they have the same settings.

If you've put 207.45.177.194 for the server and you still get errors, then it must be a different problem - a firewall issue or something. Turn on ftp logging and attach the ftp log.

I also noticed you I dont get the forecast on the computer version. was that included in the update?

The forecast code didn't change in 1.9.2. Have you enabled it?

Got it working. The problem was my google toolbar update was needing approved by my anti virus and the cumulus dns was next on the list to be approved. Happy days. Cheers again Steve
