Cumulus Support

The USB connection on my Maplin unit seems to have gone flakey. This is the second unit to have done this, the first was swapped under guarantee, but now I out of time.
Some time it connects (to the computer) and somtimes it says unit not found. Shaking, poking etc does not produce a difference, it just connects when it feels like it.
Is it worth a delve inside to see if there is a dry joint or should I go for a new setup,
I like the look of the new fineoffset 3080

Have you tried a different cable?

I think you may be right, it does come and go if you squeeze the cable, got one on order.........

I had one like that. I used a rubber band to hold it firmer in place until I got a new cable.

Seems to be sorted now, with a new cable from here..
