Logging & Reporting soil temperature.

Post by yv1hx »

Hello,

I'm developing a GeoThermometer for logging soil temperature according to WMO standards (1st temp = 0.1 meter below soil level, 2dn temp = 0.2 meter, 3rd temp = 0.5 meter and 4th temp = 1 meter deep).

If anybody know of any station reporting these figures to the Internet, please let me know.

Thanks in advance,
Marco

Hi! here you have some stations of Argentina that carry these reports of soil temperature.

The latter only 5 cm.

Hello Mauricio,

Thanks for these useful links, I believe all of those stations are using Davis Vantage Pro 2

BTW, Although the WUnderground protocol have prevision for reporting the soil temp figures, these are apparently ignored by the ingest system.

I just raised a support ticket... Have my Fingers crossed... :?:

Hi Luis, Arecoclima works with WH181 and the rise in soil temperature data is through "current box" of Cumulus ( manually). ;) Regards.
