This is the second time this has happened. Cumulus data flat lines and when I get to the computer, it has locked up. Only Cumulus is frozen - everything else on the computer works normal. The data all flat-lines, but the minimum temp. shows 999.0 and the max temp. shows -500.0. Also the min. pressure reads 9999.00. After I force quit Cumulus, restart the computer, Cumulus comes back up and operates as it should, but I still have the ridiculous readings as records for the previous day!??? Any ideas???

You have some kind of problem with USB or your station. Most of the diags files have a number of these:

11/26/2011 19:21:16.599 : Error!!! Failed to write to USB!
11/26/2011 19:21:26.599 : Error!!! Failed to write to USB!
11/26/2011 19:21:36.599 : Error!!! Failed to write to USB!
11/26/2011 19:21:46.599 : Error!!! Failed to write to USB!
11/26/2011 19:21:56.599 : Error!!! Failed to write to USB!
11/26/2011 19:22:06.599 : Error!!! Failed to write to USB!

So Cumulus is unable to read any data from the station.

Is this typical of low battery in the sending unit??? That's the only thing I can think of. Nothing else has changed in the 1 year and 4 months it has been in use - still on the original lithium battery(s).

No, it's not related to the transmission between the remote sensor and the console, it's the connection between the console and the PC.
