Modifying IndexT

I am trying to amend my IndexT file to add the B-L Sunrecorder image to the bottom of my Cumulus home page. The result is that the image shows how I want it to but the webtags on the page are then not replaced with data - just showing <the web tag code>. I am using KompoZer for pasting code from my working sunrecorder page http://www.komokaweather.com/weather/su ... ay_v1.html to immediately above the </body> and </html> in my stock IndexT file and nothing else other than to force a Web Update from Cumulus console. I have tried several times all with the same negative result. Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong or what I am missing to do? Remember, I know very little about html code, just enough to make minor changes to my pages. Thanks,

The code I am inserting is:
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img style="width: 666px; height: 437px; font-style: italic;"
src="http://www.sunrecorder.net/Sites/Today_10013.jpg"
align="middle" /><br />
Komoka, ON Canada<br />
</div>
<br />
p.s. I've learned enough here to know to make backup copy of working IndexT before modifying

Looks too complicated Hmm you could try,

Code: Select all

<center><img src="http://www.sunrecorder.net/Sites/Today_10013.jpg" height="437" width="666"><br>
Komoka, ON Canada<br></center>
I'm not sure if it works

Thanks Ron for your suggestion, but got the same result. Then I thought :bash: and tried in Notepad++ and yaaa, it works.

Now a follow up...
I have added a couple more images but the page only shows up to the second image not the third image. http://www.komokaweather.com I use IE8 and also tried in Chrome which shows a very small part of the third image. Is there a display or line number limit in browsers? or something else I can do for the full page to show? Thanks,

Paul

Aha !

You are working with frames !!!!!

The 'content' frame is bigger than the 'parent' frame and scrolling has not been enabled.
In other words it's off the bottom of the page and you can't see it.

Thanks beteljuice,
I did find some iframe code in my root index.html (side menu) that had "no" and changed that to "yes" and now all is displaying. Another lesson from the great tutors here.
