Hello all. Friend has a weather station National and often he sees sharp surge in temperature for a few seconds. As shown in the picture. Which may be due to this? His url: http://pylos.meteoclub.gr
Thanks

Fine Offset stations have a tendency to produce 'spikes' in their data, see many other posts in the forum. You can attempt to work around this using the 'spike removal' settings on the Cumulus 'Calibration settings' screen.

Shouldn't the spike removal settings be in the same units as the readings you are using?

I'm using F, inHg, etc, but your adjustments are all in metric.

I get the spikes on my WS 1080 every time I have to reboot the inside unit, which seems to be about once a week. I'm talking to THEM about THAT now.

They're applied against the raw data read from the station, before any processing and conversion, so it was easier for me to have them supplied in the native units that the station works in. It also removes any doubts about exactly what the threshold is.
