Does Cumulus work ok on a virtualisation environment

Im using Vsphere Hypervisor 5.0 and i have windows 2003 server with cumulus then once a day or at random times the USB drops out or unplugs and the cumulus restarts, i zipped the diags folder and you said its either a problem with the USB controller or the cable?

Would you think there's not enough voltage for the USB device to cope with the USB on the computer or is it because im running it on a virtualisation environment.

Any help with this is appreicated.

I was using Virtualbox in a dev environment with no issues. I used the latest USB driver though.

How do I get the latest USB driver then when the hardware version within vsphere 5.0 is the lasted and I'm using windows 2003 server. Any ideas?
