Steve,
My Cumulis software is setup to upload my data to Weather Underground. I turn my computer off overnight and notice that when I turn it on in the morning Cumulus uploads all of the historical overnight data. However, when I had my computer off for 10 days on vacation it did not upload the historical data. Can you tell me what the time limits are on historical upload of data?
Thanks for your help,
Jerry

Re: Upload to Weather Underground
It's not Cumulus, it's the amount of memory in your weather station logger, and what periodicity you have set it to record. Can you tell me what the time limits are on historical upload of data?

Re: Upload to Weather Underground
It may have had problems contacting WU to upload it. Also, note that 10 days data would have taken a very long time to upload to WU - how long did you have it running to allow it? If you zip up the diags folder and attach it, I'll take a look.

Re: Upload to Weather Underground
Steve,
Attached is the diag file. However, I remember that when I started Cumulus after my return from vacation I may have shut it down too soon. I inadvertently closed Cumulus and it caused the program to "hang" saying shutting down but not closing. I forced the shut down and then restarted Cumulus. I suppose that the program became confused about the historical data as it may have been uploading when I shut it down. Just a guess.

Re: Upload to Weather Underground
When you closed it down it had only got as far as sending 305 updates to WU out of 1714.

If you had been using the latest version of Cumulus (1.9.2) rather than 1.9.1, you would have had the benefit of the warning light telling you it was still doing the updates.
