Hi Steve
Dont think I will manage ( far to complicated for me ) to convert data back so culumus could read it. Could you tell me how to edit the 'timestamp' value today.ini to force the download of the old data which is still on memory of my W-8681.
This would atleast get me back to when I started using the culumus software.
I backed up all culumus files deleted from c-drive and downloaded latest version and you were right only reading data from today.

Thanks again Gerry

As Steve mentioned above, just edit the timestamp entry in the ini file to a time prior to the start of your data, then start Cumulus.

Yes, sorry, there was a crucial word "in" missing from my earlier post which made it somewhat unclear!

If it's today's rain which is wrong, use Edit -> today's rain. If it's the monthly or annual total which is wrong, use Edit -> dayfile.txt and correct the appropriate daily totals.

If you use the editor in Cumulus as I suggested, it should be clear which column is which. Alternatively, the formats of the data files are in the help and the wiki.
