WS 1090 inside temp and humidity false readings
I put together my new WS 1090 today and all is working except my inside temp is reading 43F and it is 68F, so I tried a little experment and put the console in the fridge and it now reads 97f has anyone had this issue right out of the box? And how easy are they to work with repairs? Thanks Newbie

Re: WS 1090 inside temp and humidity false readings
Hi,
The outdoor temperature sensor uses only a thermistor with a simple A/D converter (shared with the wind vane) but I don't know about the indoor sensor. There are details of the construction in this sticky at the top of the Fine Offset section.
Always check/change the batteries first, but the dubious Quality Control of these Fine Offset stations is such that, if the problems persist, a warranty replacement from the supplier might be the best option.
Cheers, Alan.
