Cosmetic suggestions for Cumulus

Am new to the forums and am unsure where to place this. I have a couple cosmetic suggestions for the next version/update of Cumulus (currently 1.9.2 (Build 1019).

1) Move the date from the top right to the space under the Recent Extremes dialog. And include the weekday as in "Wednesday, November 2, 2011"

2) In the Outdoor dialog, have a second column of readings. One column in Fahrenheit and the second in Celcius. It would help us ugly Americans better understand what most iof the rest of the world uses. (ie I never can remember if 50c is hot or cold. {grin}).

3) Have an option in the Configuration to have times displayed in 12 hour format intead of just military time.

Not nitpicking here, just trying to contribute. Cumulus is an OUTSTANDING program and I count myself fortunate to have found it.

From the Wiki:
Set by left click on clock on main screen

(or cumulus.ini)

TwelveHourClock=0 ( 0 = 24Hr clock mode, 1 = 12 Hr am/pm clock mode)

Thanks. Changed the "live" clock display but not the displayed times. I tried closing and reopening C but the displayed times are still in military time.

I'll check the ini to see if something is in there for the display times.

There's a section for enhancement requests, see the link at the top of the forum. Putting them there keeps them all together so they don't get lost in the other forum threads.
for the next version/update of Cumulus
Note that there are already a large number of outstanding requests and I have to prioritise and do them when I can. Only a few will get into the next version.
1) Move the date from the top right to the space under the Recent Extremes dialog.
You need to bear in mind that not everyone sees the same display that you see, it adapts to a certain extent to fit the type of weather station and the sensors in use. Not everyone has a space below the 'recent extremes' box.
And include the weekday as in "Wednesday, November 2, 2011"
That's a possibility, as an option, yes.
2) In the Outdoor dialog, have a second column of readings. One column in Fahrenheit and the second in Celcius.
This is a possibility, yes, but it's always difficult to squeeze new things in.
3) Have an option in the Configuration to have times displayed in 12 hour format intead of just military time.
This is a possibility (and has been asked for before). It's just a large amount of work to do it - so maybe one day, yes.

Of the suggestions, that's the one I would most like to see. And you DO pack an impressive amount of info into the interface. On my display (and I presume others) however, there is plenty room for a second column.

Thanks your consideration, Steve. You've done (are doing) a GREAT job. I will shortly be getting into putting up a local weather page using Cumulus data.
