That was when you first closed it down after the problem occurred; it continued logging the same data after the station stopped responding to it. Since then, each time you've started it up, it hasn't had any response at all, so hasn't logged anything.
If I should uninstall and reinstall Cumulus, is the data file all I have to save and recopy so I don't loose the history?
Everything is in the data folder (apart from your settings in cumulus.ini). But uninstalling and reinstalling Cumulus won't achieve anything.

OK..Just grasping at straws. I was hoping it was a glitch in the software and not the hardware. The display on the station works fine though.

Try Easyweather; there's another current thread with someone saying EW works fine and Cumulus doesn't. You can have them both installed at the same time, just don't run them at the same time. But note that if EW does work for you, there's nothing I can do about Cumulus apparently suddenly and inexplicably having stopped working for you.

OK, Steve..Thanks..I have installed Easyweather, and I get an error message there too saying that it cannot communicate. So apparently, it's something with the hardware. I have sent an email to customer support for my weather station. We'll have to wait and see what they say when/if they reply. I appreciate your prompt reply to all of my questions. If I find out what the problem is in the near future, I will post it.

I got the "Failure to Communicate" problem fixed. It was simple enough. Don't know why I didn't try it sooner. All I did was take the batteries out of the display unit and let it sit for a couple of minutes. After I put the batteries back in, the unit started talking to my computer, and everything works.

Thanks to all for your suggestions.
