Cumulus Support

Just wondering how the Davis pro 2 and the cumulus 1.9.2 responds to the clocks going back? Do they do it automatically? Or do I have to do it manually. Surely the data will be doubled up?

Cumulus responds to clock changes by ignoring them, so yes, when the clocks go back, you potentially get an hour's data with apparently duplicate timestamps. What happens exactly depends on whether Cumulus was running at the time. As far as I'm aware, no weather stations or software handle clock changes. To avoid the issue, you need to run your weather station and PC at the same clock setting all year round.

I had really nice graphs , hopefully nobody asks what temperature it was at 02:30 am

And as Steve said I've duplicate data in the hour the clock was set back on 3 am, I don't change those data

I run VirtualVP that allows me to run VPLive alongside Cumulus. This free program keeps the console clock aligned with that of the PC.

It's an excellent way of keeping everything chronologically aligned. The duplication of an hour's data in the autumn and missing an hour in the spring is not something I worry about. I have plenty of other things to concern me!
