Restoring previous Record Rainfall Rate

Post by mickopla »

On Sunday i'm guessing that my weather station got hit by a bird or something as i now have a record rainfall rate of 960.0mm/h. I was wondering is there any easy way to find my previous record and roll back to that? Cheers

There are a number of ways; if you haven't broken any other records since then, you could look in the backup folder and reinstate the alltime.ini file (and month.ini and year.ini if they are affected). Or, if the backup files aren't suitable or don't exist, your previous all-time old record will have been recorded in alltimelog.txt; you can use the all-time record editor to reinstate the value. For the 'this year' and 'this month' records, you can edit dayfile.txt to remove the spurious value and then use the corresponding year and month editors to extract the records from dayfile.txt.
