outside weather cam

Post by kf5ept »

So for thoughs that use a weather cam for there weather station. What brand do you use and how do you have it set up? I am thinking about installing a weather cam on my house and having it shoot to the west north west to get lighting footage and other stuff. What would be the best cam to use to set up outside to capture the changing of the weather...

any advise or info will be helpful!

Thanks
David

i have a foscam 8905. Cheap, does the job but day colors suck.

You are from the US. Dont bother with chinese stuff. Get the real thing made in USA.

They have one installed in NH.

Customer service is super. Will get one as soon the foscam dies.

and if you want to see the foscam : ( I think it will work )

or you can go to wunderground and look at a history of pictures and videos
