EasyWeather - Can I ask?

Hi All, I use both Cumlus 1.8.8 and Easy Weather 6.1 for my WH1081 weather station. I have just noticed that the time axis on the EasyWeather graph is (looks like it might be exactly) 6 hours behind. Have checked the dat file and the last data is as the WH1081 is displaying except the time in the dat file which is 6 hours behind real time. The time on the device is correct and the problem doesn't feature on the Cumlus graphs.

I know Cumulus is better but I like to keep EasyWeather going too. Anyone any idea what could be going on with EasyWeather please?

Thanks for any help.

WnW

Wrong timezone setting, either on the station or in Easyweather?

Thanks for the reply Steve. I've had a look round and the PC settings are fine. I can't see any time zone related settings in EasyWeather??

I haven't got EW installed at the moment, but according to the manual, it's in the setup:

Sorry Steve, I had missed that, but my setting is as the picture which I presume means zero offset.

No the timezome 0 as in the picture means the timezone MEST at his moment oct 20th UTC+1 in England and mostly UTC+2 in the rest of West-Europe.

I'm not able to see the options in the Time Zone drop-down box but GMT+1 is the option you need now. If there's an option for automatic daylight saving check that as it will remove the need to make the adjustment next weekend and again at the end of March 2012.

I think you should enter -1 (choose) I must say the timezones are confusing it should be better to use 0 for UTC but the atomic clock is in Germany so they decided for 0 in that region, antway you have a 1081 and the time wil not be adjusted automatically you will have to adjust manually by chanching daylightsavings.

Hi thanks all for the discussion. I'm away at the moment but will experiment a bit when I get home. I know the clock on the PC and the device are correct, the timezone setting on the PC are fine. The time difference on teh EasyWeather graph is wrong by about 6 hours.

Cumulus is fine.
