Not really a Linux fan but Ubuntu is pretty good and Virtualbox could do the trick

It would be good to see Cumulus running on something like the RaspberryPi or some other light weight ARM based system. We have an interest in such a low powered system running at a remote site without mains power, where leaving a PC running isn't practical - a Raspi sips less than 1 watt to run. However...
Cumulus is written for windows, and as far as I can tell is compiled into x86 machine code... I doubt it would ever run on a 'raspi. But it would be great if it did!
