Not weather... But a lot of oil....

Post by BrendanPratt »

Hi all, well I had a fun day at the beach today.... A few photos from Papamoa beach, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, after oil from the MV Rena wasted up. The ship ran-a-ground last Wednesday.

Those are some of the best pictures I've seen of this.
The Bay of Plenty is a beautiful area with world class beaches. I loved my holidays there as a kid.
Hopefully the spill can be cleaned up and get the beaches and wildlife back to its past status.
Cheers Bob
