Hi all,
since i updated from 1.9.1 to the new 1.9.2 build 1017, i found that the APRS transmitted data looks wrong!?
if i compare wxnow.txt (aprs data) against realtime.txt, it shows that the pressure and humidity are not the same.
here are an example:
wxnow.txt
Oct 09 2011 11:31
180/000g003t049r000p3.3dP000h00b00096
realtime.txt
09.10.11 11:32:07 9.6 96 9.0 0.1 0.7 135 0.0 0.0 1021.1 SE 0 m/s C hPa mm 0.5 +0.2 21.9 206.7 8.7 11.5 68 9.6 +1.6 9.6 11:30 3.6 07:32 0.3 11:30 1.7 10:51 1021.4 10:40 1017.0 00:00 1.9.2 1017 1.4 9.6 10.4 0.0 0.0 0 183 0.0 1 1 0 S 75 m 9.3 0.0 404 0
You can also look at Ham Radio Network Weatherstation DG8JT-13 compared to CWOP Datas of Station DW8006- both should be the same.
Can somebody check there own APRS data, if my config is faulty or perhaps a bug in the software.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks Joachim

You're right, but I have no idea how that's happened. Of course, it was always going to be the case that someone found a major bug after I'd made the 1.9.2 beta into the release version
I'll see if I can work out what's gone wrong and fix it.
Edit: actually it's only the wxnow.txt file which is affected, the data sent to CWOP is OK. I guess this is why no-one spotted it earlier.

Here's a link to an updated zipped Cumulus.exe file with the fix. I'll do a 'proper' release later.

Is this an inocuous bug? In other words, does anything actually use the wxnow.txt file? If the data sent to APRS is fine then I don't see this as a huge deal.

It's used by a program called ui-view, which I think is an alternative way for radio amateurs to get their data to APRS/CWOP.
