I'd better not try French because it would probably sound like the first 5 seconds of this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGNVU5ZjlgA

Re: TEST DRIVE : Complete Website Template for v.1.9.2
Either now, or when you do it in english, do you have any plans to insert Solar data, UV index etc? also do you have plans for the system status pages that are currently supported?

Hi Rob,
For your questions, I'm planning a real complete Template!
Then, I'm in search of good ideas and suggestions like yours!
For console info like O/S, Ram, Free Space, etc... I think it could not be interesting for visitors, then an hidden page could be a good idea?
(UV and other has just been forgotten, because I haven't it)
Thanks for appreciation.

Re: TEST DRIVE : Complete Website Template for v.1.9.2
Excellent thinking Jacques - as a weather station operator (and web page designer) I really do not see the purpose for the users/visitors to know/see what kind of computer (and associated information) my weather station is running on nor do I see the purpose for the users/visitors to know if a particular data file has been uploaded at such or such a time - that is 'fluff' stuff only useful to the station operator and completelu useless for the users/visitors...JacquesD wrote:For console info like O/S, Ram, Free Space, etc... Jacques do you mean you have forgotten to incorporate those tags or do you mean your weather station does not provide such information?JacquesD wrote:(UV and other has just been forgotten, because I haven't it)
- New Moon == Nouvelle lune
First Quarter == Premier quartier de lune
First Quarter Moon == Lune dans son premier quartier
Waxing Gibbous == Lune ascendante deuxième quartier
Waxing Gibbous Moon == Lune ascendante deuxième quartier
Full Moon == Pleine lune
Waning Gibbous == Lune descendante troisième quartier
Waning Gibbous Moon == Lune descendante troisième quartier
Last Quarter == Dernier quartier de lune

Jacques

HI,
I've done a stutus page for this template. All Pc informations are there ad any other "status lights"
A cartoon picture is included, but coul be replaced by yours.
You could see it at : http://meteoduquebec.com/TemplateQC/system.htm
Hoping for some comments!

Re: TEST DRIVE : Complete Website Template for v.1.9.2
again, very impressive, one thing worries me though, coming from someone like myself who is USELESS at creating webpages, when you create this package, will it be as easy as Steve's to just upload and "work"?

Hi Rob,
Yes, I plan it to be as simple as it could be!
As Cumulus, you have to copy a folder's content to your weather site folder.
Then replace original template just by throwing content of a 2nd folder into C:\\cumulus\web
I could plan a little script to do it for you!

Re: TEST DRIVE : Complete Website Template for v.1.9.2
Hi Ray!
Yes, I forgot UV infos because my station is "plain vanilla" 265n c
Jacques

I do wish I could do these things, i have had a very good teacher, but it just seems something i can't get to grips with, editing little things i can manage sometimes with guidance, but the rest.......

Impressive and good looking. You must have been spending hours to get all the data to play together. Super template.
As mentioned earlier by someone: A good thing for newbies would be to have a template like yours available. Perhaps we shall start a template forum in here? There must be other nice templates out there which can be shared - with regret I must admit mine is very dull, so I would for sure be one of the first users to download.

Hi "Koge"
That's my 4th "template" for Cumulus, First 3 are more "Gadgets" then template.
There are some others in section Website Development, as the Saratoga Full professional template... scroll that section, you will find some beauties!
Mine are mostly French, as I have 2 French Weather website, in Quebec, Canada.
I plan some translations, when needs will require.
Salute,
Jacques
