NOAA Current Weather style reports

Post by fajja »

Hello, brilliant peice of software!

I'm in the process of getting everything set up and creating custom pages for my wordpress blog. I see the NOAA style reports thread above, but they are monthly reports. I'm wondering if there is a way of getting the hourly data in order to be able to create a page similar to: http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/current/EGPK.html I can do it if I make a database for it, but just wondering if theres a simpler way already built into cumulus that I havent discovered yet?

Thanks for any advice!

There's nothing in Cumulus currently that could do that, so you'd have to use some sort of DIY approach to extracting the data from the log files.

 i like a challenge, not too hard though.
Just create a table in my wordpress database for weather reports with fields for all my hourly data, then update these once an hour, and create a page which displays the most recent 24hrs of data :)

Will have to figure out how to handle no data though :ugeek:
