Re: FTP progress problem
The FTP progress window doesn't really help diagnose problems. You need to turn on ftp logging, and then look at the ftplog.txt file.

Re: FTP progress problem
It looks like you had an incompatible set of options, e.g. 'delete before upload' does not really make sense with 'rename'.
The uploads were timing out, no response from the server for 30 seconds.

Re: FTP progress problem
Ok, so upload worked yesterday evening when I took web upload.
Not workin today, only graph uploaded is inside temerature, but only for a couple of updates, up until 10.00 today.
Now no graph at all uploads.
Indexpage uploads fine. Very strange.

Re: FTP progress problem
Hi there,
This happened to me when I had run out of broadband data and they put me back on slow modem speed.
It just kept timing out.
I suggest resetting everything. Turn off PC and turn back on. Turn off router/modem. Unplug cables into router/modem etc and plug back. Turn back on.
I am presuming you have same hardware up there we have. If not then I am probably confusing you
Anyways reset everything and try again.
If no better ring your ISP for any issues.
Also email your server where weather data held and see if any issues.
Can you manually FTP to your server?
Thats all basic stuff but might help.

Re: FTP progress problem
I have the same problem. See attached log file.
I have tried diferent combinations of options on the internet options config page. Am using Win 7 and cumulus version 1.9.1.
To get around the problem, I have turned off the include standard images check box on the files page and have used a third party FTP client with a scheduler to upload the images (this proves that there is nothing wrong on the ISP side?).
I am on satellite 1024 / 512 kbps plan and have checked that it has not been throttled back.
Any ideas?
Rob

Re: FTP progress problem
You're getting timeouts (server not responding within 30 seconds). You could try active ftp mode instead of passive mode; other than that I don't know what to suggest, sorry.

Re: FTP progress problem
Hi,
As you say it is getting through ok so configuration must be ok.
I would be inclined to email or phone your server and ask them why they are timing you out.
They would then 'normally' run some tests uploading and downloading through your ftp account to check and then hopefully get back to you.
Does not sound like anything to do with your PC or cumulus more like their end.
Cheers
