Cumulus Support

Just noticed, I have "Synchronize Davis clock to PC" checked in Configuration, but the time for my Davis Vantage VUE console lags by 36 seconds.

The command to set the clock has a resolution of one minute, and Cumulus just discards the seconds from the current time.

I had the same problem having just purchased a new Davis Vantage Pro2. I solved the problem by creating two scheduled tasks, the first one at 02:58 each day to close the cumulus processes and a second at 03:00 each day to start the cumulus process. This means that the Davis clock is reasonably accurate all the time. On windows you need to create a *.cmd file for the close function (the command file should contain the line - taskkill /t /im cumulus.exe - this will shut down the cumulus processes when called from the scheduler). Hope this helps other people.

This works around the issue of Cumulus only setting the clock at startup, but won't help the situation described in the original post.
