Cumulus Support

Be very careful not to break the XML structure! This is what it state in the readme file following the CumulusRealtime.zip. It seem as the only thing you can change in CumulusRealtime.xml without getting into problems is the url for the realtime txt file (you can also change letters, but not the structure of the line even if you keep it to 14 characters as original). If you want to change the name of the webpage then the webpage keep saying loading data and will then change the name from the name you have given it to Done.

You can change anything you want in the file as long as (a) you don't change the structure of the XML (i.e. all the stuff inside the angle brackets, and the matching open and close tags, e.g. <realtimeURL> ...</realtimeURL> and (b) the URL to your realtime.txt file is valid and doesn't break the Silverlight cross-domain policy.

Are you using non-ASCII characters? It's possible that these might cause a problem.

If you give a link to the non-working page I might be able to tell you what the problem is. I don't understand which part you are changing when you say you cannot change the name of the web page. It's always a good idea when reporting a problem to give links, screenshots, extract from files etc, as otherwise I and others stand very little chance of helping you.

Ohhh yes of course - the ASCII characters. How stupid of me - what a fault! I must have been blind. Again I must say that I'm impressed about your layout. Also the PC client is working out fine.

Where is it exactly that you want to use non-ASCII characters? As a test, I've just put a Danish character into my xml file in my 'site name' and my 'daily rain label', and it's working fine, see http://sanday.org.uk/weather/realtime.htm
