Thank you Steve, I downloaded it twice and it ends up with a 14K corrupted file, I then switched browsers, and got enough of a clue to see it actually is a link to an html page that then does indeed allow it to be downloaded and in fine condition. It's very odd that when doing a right click and save link on the link above, as you normally would in chrome, that it ends up saving an html document as a pdf, which of course explains the corrupt file reported by the reader!

Oh well, I got it now - I wonder why they are so shy about letting people have it in advance of a purchase? Very odd that.

Thank you very much indeed, and although I have only lurked here for ages and only now finally made the decision to go with one, I still want to offer you my deep thanks for writing a great piece of software. I may not have installed it or tried it yet, but from what I have read it's clearly very special to a lot of very happy people.

It was stumbling on that great Android app for Cumulus on the Android Market that finally pushed me over the edge earlier than I had expected and set me on the road to try all this at last! Well, that and Maplin making me an offer I could not sensibly refuse. ;)
