I have tried to change this total by editing all the totals, but it keeps going back to the original 9.14" after I hit the OK button. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried Edit -> Today's rain?

Yes, but after I click OK, it goes right back to 9.14". It doesn't seem to be saving the info. My next question is, I have the easy weather software installed form the original installation, I do not run it, but could this have something to do with Cumulus not saving the data? Do I need to uninstall easy weather since I only use Cumulus?

As long as you don't try to run Easyweather at the same time as Cumulus, it doesn't matter if it's installed on your system.

If you zip up the diags folder and attach it, I'll see if I can see why the rain correction isn't working.

I would be happy to, and this may be a silly question, but how do I do that?

In Windows Explorer, go the folder where you installed Cumulus. Right-click on the Diags folder and select Send To -> Compressed (zipped) folder (I can't remember whether this is exactly the correct wording in XP). This will create a file called Diags.zip. Post a reply to this message and attach the Diags.zip file using the 'upload attachment' section just below the section where you enter your reply.

I'd assumed you were using 1.9.2, as you posted in the beta section of the forum and you said you'd used Edit -> Today's rain, which only exists in 1.9.2, but you're actually using 1.9.1, so you need to stop Cumulus, and edit today.ini in the data folder. Find the line which starts 'Start=' and change it to

Start=9.14

When you start Cumulus again, today's rain should be correct. There was some sort of problem reading the rain total from the station on one occasion when you started Cumulus today, which caused the rain counter to be reset.
