RainDayThreshold noaa report ?

Hi Steve,
if RainDayThreshold is set for 0.01 does that change any thing on the noaa report ?

Beau if I remember right the threshold defines what is a measurable amount of rain so if it rains less than that it want count as a rain day. The metric setting I think is 1 mm.

The NOAA report configuration page sets what you want the report to show as a low end rain. You could set that as an example at 1", 2" and 3"

You're correct, Randy. RainDayThreshold is the figure Cumulus uses to decide on the number of rain days, it's nothing to do with the NOAA reports.
