Say a squirrel crawls up your sensor mounting mast and triggers a false rain reading, can you somehow eliminate that one spike from your data to keep the history intact? Can I edit the ini's to get rid of the 689 inches of rain?

Yes. The formats of the files are in the help and the wiki. If the rain is for today and you want to edit it today, it's a bit trickier (but 1.9.2 makes it easier). See http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#My_sta ... it_to_zero
