hello
i have been running cumulus for a month or so and have it all running well. last night i installed my rain gauge for the first time and i now have a record i need to delete. it has a rain rate of 11000mm. i understand this is due to the installation but i am having truoble deleting it. is it possible to get simple instructions to delete it. i have tried in the edit section of cumulus and in the data files but it still shows
thanks

The 'high rain rate' figure on those screens is taken from
dayfile.txt - the 'maximum rainfall rate' field.
and also in the select a graph
Select-A-Graph plots data from the
monthly log files - in this case the 'current rainfall rate' field.
You need to edit the appropriate fields in those files with Cumulus stopped. If you're struggling with the editing, the
Toolbox makes it easier.

No; it means you've made a mistake editing the file on that line, and now the fields don't line up properly.

That's strange; the first time you run Cumulus it takes the current date from Windows.
To change it, you'll need to stop Cumulus and edit cumulus.ini. Find the 'Startdate' line and change it to the correct date.

Yes, there's only one cumulus.ini file. You probably have file extensions hidden in Windows.
