rain fall rate needs editting
hello
i have been running cumulus for a month or so and have it all running well. last night i installed my rain gauge for the first time and i now have a record i need to delete. it has a rain rate of 11000mm. i understand this is due to the installation but i am having truoble deleting it. is it possible to get simple instructions to delete it. i have tried in the edit section of cumulus and in the data files but it still shows
thanks

Re: rain fall rate needs editting
The 'high rain rate' figure on those screens is taken from dayfile.txt - the 'maximum rainfall rate' field.NHP wrote:when i click on view- this month and this year
Select-A-Graph plots data from the monthly log files - in this case the 'current rainfall rate' field.and also in the select a graph
You need to edit the appropriate fields in those files with Cumulus stopped. If you're struggling with the editing, the Toolbox makes it easier.

No; it means you've made a mistake editing the file on that line, and now the fields don't line up properly.NHP wrote:when i re started cumulus i got this error log

Re: rain fall rate needs editting
That's strange; the first time you run Cumulus it takes the current date from Windows.NHP wrote:one last quick one. on my web site it says reords began 10 december. i only sarted with cumulus recently. am i able to change the date. looking to change it to june
To change it, you'll need to stop Cumulus and edit cumulus.ini. Find the 'Startdate' line and change it to the correct date.

Re: rain fall rate needs editting
Yes, there's only one cumulus.ini file. You probably have file extensions hidden in Windows.
