Hi all,
I'm moving house shortly and thought it might be time to upgrade from my 1-wire system and WD to a WH3080 and Cumulus. I've watched Cumulus for a long time and it's great to it progressing so well with such great support
Where is the best place to purchase the WH3080? I see Signatrol mentioned and some sort of forum discount code? Any help appreciated.
Cheers

Hi Colin,
I purchased my WH3080 from Signatrol and found them very helpfull for after service questions as well, Yes, this is a great forum where everyone is willing to help you
I used to run WD but have now changed over to Cumuls and I am glad that I did, Steve (Admin) has developed a great program here.
As for the discount voucher, I think you will find that it was just for a short period only, even I missed out on it, though I done well I think, I got the WH3080 on Ebay for £99 brand new
Good luck with your purchasing and enjoy the forum,
Regards,
Geoff

Hi Colin,
Yes, the special (sandaysoft) Signatrol discount expired at the end of June, but the price on ebay.co.uk then actually dropped (because of "free" (UK) delivery). Signatrol do appear to offer very good customer service, and may ship to NZ, but returns, etc., might be an issue to the other side of the world. You definitely should consider the issue of potential faulty units as the FO Quality Control doesn't seem to be all that it should/could be.
I belive the 3080 was first available in Australia so perhaps you should look there first. But having recently visited, I am aware that some prices (at least relative to GBP) do look frighteningly high.
Cheers, Alan.

Thanks for the replies folks. Ebay.co.uk = £99, but on the Signatrol website they are £75.25 (ex vat). At that price I could buy 2 and have one for spares

I'll see what the shipping costs are like.
