Cumulus Support

The last update too my web page by Cumulus was at 5:06am, now it is after midday. When I try to manually do a web update I get this:

FTP Error: Account empty!
Aborting

I'm using build 1001, which had been working perfectly well up until this morning.
Any suggestions as to what the problem might be?

EDIT - UPDATE: I can ftp to where the files are online from a DOS window, the but Cumulus still fails.

Another update: I'm not at home and can ftp from DOS here at work, but not from DOS on the computer at home, the ftp is terminated as soon as I enter my user name... very odd that it accepts it from this computer but not the one at home that normally does it every 20sec for realtime...
So it would seem to NOT be a Cumulus problem.

And to close, now it has suddenly started working again over 8 hours after it stopped - updates to the web page are working normally, and I haven't changed anything at all.

Isn't technology wonderful!

It could be a DNS issue - perhaps some server changes are taking place, and sometimes you get the correct server and sometimes not.

I had exactly the same error at about the same time and contacted my ISP. They said everything looked ok at their end and suggested I reboot my PC and modem/router. I did this and it fixed it.

hmmm, interestingly your ISP is also ozemail...
