TESTERS NEEDED : Real Gauges prototype

Hi,

I've worked a lot on gauges replacements, but some library are in Flash (and my iPad haven't it), others are HTNL5, but v5 is not widely supported by browser or results are real diffrent between browsers, many other libraries have problems with Internet Exporer.

I've done some basic gauges, but all cartoon or clip art styles. Now I try diffrently... something nicier with real photos... without Flash or others.

But I don't have all the browsers... Then could you look at it and give me feedbacks?

This sample is only a rough draft.. lot of things to fine tune.
In bottom you will find some buttons to play with 4 styles.. and some animation.

Thanks,
JacquesD

Jacques, are the gauges meant to be animated? I entered a value of 20% but the needles do not move, but the numeric value changes. Windows 7 Enterprise, Chrome 12.0

... 1st bug....

Try "Démarrer" (Start).... it takes 2 seconds to start animation... on 1 needle

... Real... real BASIC prototype!

Hi Jacques,

I sure like those gauges, did you make them or did you just catch sight of them? is it a full set? I would not mind a set seeing that I live in a seafaring town :D

Regards

Geoff

Hi Geoff,

Like you see, I have a lot of portholes, I found that "marine instruments" are the most beautiful gauges. Il like the roughness (professional) look.. and when you shine brass porthole... it shine really bright.

The set that I pointed on other post was for a funny skin project... kids style!
Library is complete... but limited. Two size of the same porthole.

But, the lib containaing some tricks to learn in php.

If your have a background theme to work on... we can play with it a little!

Cheers,
Jacques

I have said before, I don't understand the porthole theme for rainfall. If rain was covering a porthole, then surely it was a big flood? Sorry, I don't get it.
