Discussion and questions about Cumulus weather station software version 1. This section is the main place to get help with Cumulus 1 software developed by Steve Loft that ceased development in November 2014.

Experiences from a newbie user:
- Ordered a WH1080 (actually an Alecto WS-4000) Friday, was delivered Saturday

Saturday 2011-07-23:
- Installed the hardware. No problems.
- Played around with the supplied EasyWeather software. Didn't like it very much.
- Found about Cumulus.
- Standard Cumulus setup was easy.
- FTP to my NAS webserver (Synology) took some time

Sunday 2011-07-24:
- It took some time to understand the banner.php functionality, and to make it work.
- Now, completely up and running!

Thanks Steve, my Paypal donation is on its way.

(One minor problem: What is the signature code for the banner?)

It looks like you're missing the opening bracket from the [img] tag:
