Win XP Home sp3
I don't know if anyone has found the closing OE leaves MSIMN.EXE running using resources unnecessarily but I found creating a shortcut direct to C:\program files\outlook express\msimn.exe solves the problem.

How you detect if the OE is still running, using the task manager ??
