Rapid Fire - help!

Post by WX_Frank »

Hi all...this is my first post and hope you can help me out ;)

I use the W-8681 with the Cumulus, and registered on Weather Underground (WU).
I want the rapid fire to show on my front weather page, but can't make it work :?
Below is the link to my page.
http://www.floranett.no/vaeret/index.htm
...and here to my WU site:
http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstat ... IALICANT56

I thought when you got the rapid fire marked in the "Internet settings">"WU", it will post automatic on my page...but not (?)
I tried manually to enter the code in the index.htm through my ftp..then worked before gets overwritten.

How do I make this work ??
Thanks in advance and thanks for great software :)

The Weather Underground settings in Cumulus configure Cumulus to upload your data to Weather Underground, no more than that. If you want your WU data to appear on your own site, you need to create/modify your own pages. The index.htm file is created by Cumulus each web update from a 'template' called indexT.htm. Each time Cumulus does a web update, the index.htm file is overwritten with a new copy - this is why your changes get lost. You need to edit the template - indexT.htm.

aha...so it was the indexT.htm  ..thanks a lot Steve, works great now :)
So if I want to change/modify the layout on my page, I should do it on the indexT.htm?

Cheers :)
