You need the 1.9.2 beta version, then you just put your WOW details into the internet settings, rather like setting up Weather Underground or PWS Weather:

Thanks Steve
I will Upgrade the Software and give it a go.
It Looks like i will have to change my wind measurement from MPH to Knots or M/s
If I do this will it affect all my data from Feb 2011.

Thanks

If you change your units in Cumulus, it will invalidate all of your existing data. But you don't need to change your units for WOW, the units that WOW displays are independent of the units in Cumulus.

It seems to have been working up until 13:45 today:
Met Office WOW Site 'NEWARK Notts UK (6307069)' Observations - Mozilla Firef_2011-07-24_20-10-09.png
Do you know what might have changed after that?

If you turn on the debug log, and then wait for a minute or so after an update should have taken place, the debug.log file will show the attempted update and any error message returned from WOW.

1816.422 : 21:20:18 WOW Response Code: 400 Response = {"errorMessage":"One or more fields have failed validation checking. Please check and try again.\nReport Date \/ Time : The date and time must not be in the future\n"}

Is your PC clock correct? They're quite strict about timestamps.

Ah, hold on:

1811.641 : 21:20:13 Updating WOW
1811.641 : http://wow.metoffice.gov.uk/automaticre ... s%20v1.9.2

You don't seem to have your PC set up correctly for GMT and BST, you seem to be running it on GMT+1 with no time offset.

Yes, but that wasn't the problem; it was actually an hour fast as far as GMT/UTC was concerned. But it looks like in correcting the time you have also corrected the timezone/daylight savings issue :D
