It updates, but for some reason it is not finding to correct path, and I have tried everything I can think of, and nothing is working!

I gave you the correct path to use in the PM I sent you on Saturday, which you don't appear to have read.

I found it today, but it did not do any good! I have tried every path at least a few times, and nothing seems to work!
This is the path I used! sixmileturn-weather.com/web I have also tried it with ftp. www. http:// in front of sixmileturn-weather.com/web and none of them worked.
I have deleted and started over dozens of times, moved files, re-named folders, and nothing works!
Thanks everyone for trying, but I guess I am destine to fail, so maybe it is time to give up and mark it up as a failed test and move on to something else!
6 weeks ago I was so excited to get my new Davis Vantage Pro2 and web site, now I regret wasting so much time, money and effort.
For now I will walk away from it for a day or two, and maybe go a little crazier and pull what little hair I have left out trying to get things going then.
Thanks again for trying everyone!

I put the details you gave me into Cumulus, set the ftp directory to 'web', and it works fine -
http://sixmileturn-weather.com/index.htm

It is not updating according to what I am seeing!
It is now 8 minutes til the top of the hour, and your test is still showing Conditions at local time 20:30 on 17 July 2011 with your site updating every 10 minutes, it should have updated twice since then.

I only did it the once to prove that the settings are correct.

Here is something I just discovered. When I type in this
ftp://ftp.sixmileturn-weather.com/index.htm it is working with live updates, but when I type in
www.sixmileturn-weather.com, it does not update.
What do you make of that?

The root of your ftp space is not the same as the root of your web space.
To be seen in the root of your web space (i.e.
http://www.sixmileturn-weather.com/index.htm) file index.htm has to go in the
web folder in your ftp space (i.e.
ftp://ftp.sixmileturn-weather.com/web/index.htm). This is why you have to put 'web' as the ftp directory in Cumulus.
Files which go in the root of your ftp space are not visible from the web.

What I am confused about is the fact that the web site does live updating, but it is not showing up in the browser. At least that's the way I see it when I go to the root of the ftp in a browser.

Because the root of your ftp space is not the root of your web space. The root of your web space is the
web folder on your ftp server. Files uploaded to the root of your ftp server are not visible to the web, they are above the root of the web space.

But why isn't my web site updating? I am getting more confused with this, not getting better at it!

What have you put in the 'ftp directory' box in Cumulus? It needs to be 'web' (without the quotes).

Since you brought it to my attention the my local folder was wrong, I have thought that the web site address went in there with web at the end.
I just changed it to web only, and it works! (I had it like sixmileturn-weather.com/web)
Thanks for your patients with my ignorant s, now maybe I can move on to making the site populated with radar and such.
