WOW: Fine Offset vs Davis

Post by mcrossley »

The WOW website allows to easily compare data from two stations, I have compared my FO against Rays nearby Davis Vantage Pro 2.

In my opinion this shows pretty good performance from the cheapie FO
The FO is the orange line:

for the temperature it doesn't perform so good. it shows a 3°C difference at times

That is more down to location (I'm closer the open countryside, and the sensor is in a more sheltered position and close to a shed - hence higher highs and lower lows) and using the standard shield as opposed to the FARS unit Ray has on his Davis.
