Just noticed an announcement from Glovine that should help running a Cumulus weather website...

http://www.glovine.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=130
"Hi everyone,

What you may notice is http://www.FreeGloVine.com is no longer offering signups at this stage.

GloVine will be relaunching free webhosting under a different strategy which will include automatic installations of the popular software such as Wordpress, Cumulus, Joomla, PhpBB, vBulletin, ZenCart and more."

That reminds me that I have an email from them which I haven't replied to; I'm still trying to make sense of it. I think that they are removing full 'cpanel' access for free hosting, and offering a more 'packaged' set up instead. I think the Cumulus installation they are talking about is the installation of the standard web site files.

I'm starting to have issues with them again.

Was working fine, and now I can't even get to their website, let alone mine.
Maybe I need to start paying for some hosting services!?

Anyone used 1&1?

I can't resolve my website name so looks like a DNS Issue.
Can you see if you can access my site please.

I'm FTPing up there and can access FTP but not mine (or their) website?

How Odd.

I still can't access from home, just done a VPN to work and it works fine.
FTP Still working but I can't access my website from home.

Just for info my ISP is Sky (UK)

I know Glovine are changing there hosting soon, just wonder if they have started making some changes now in the background and updating their DNS Server?

At the time you said it was down I could access both your web site and the Glovine web site.

Must have been my ISP, as I could also access from work at the time, and FTP was working throughout.

Thanks for checking though.
