It behaves that way for everyone, if the range of values for the parameter you select fall within the existing gauge scale, it will not rescale the gauge. For the temperature gauge, I shift the scale 20°C at a time, with a 40°C range so there quite a bit overlap in the range 'jumps'. Refreshing the page will set it back to the start range of course.
The aim was to minimise the range jumping around as much as possible.

Version 1.5.1 is available.
No huge changes, but quite a lot of files touched in small ways - be sure to catch them all.

Hi Mark!
The LCD-font is now back in my phone, thanks. But the problem with the redirection remains. I noticed the same problem with other users pages as well, not just my own, trying to view them with IE8. The only thing showing is some radio-buttons.

Re: SteelSeries Gauges - version 1.0
For anyone interested, can you try out my gauges page (force a browser page refresh if you have used it before).
This page should now detect browser with no canvas support and redirect them to my old gauges page (which I think also uses canvas! I haven't checked).
Browsers with javascript disabled will be redirected to my today/yesterday page (as my index page also uses scripting).
Go easy, my web site is home hosted on a creaky laptop at the end of an ADSL link
And this is just test code.
Edit: A link helps!

Hi Mark.
No problems opening your gauges page in IE9, Firefox, Chrome and with my HTC Sensation. When I try it with IE8 I get redirected to http://weather.wilmslowastro.com/gauges.htm
I hope this information is useful.

Re: SteelSeries Gauges - version 1.0
I've updated to the latest, but it goes a bit berserk now.
If i refresh the page, it all starts normal, then after the first update, i get 'HTTP REQUEST 200'
Then it refreshes again, and the countdown timer goes haywire ..
It starts using alot of CPU as well.

Ahh thank you. I was scouring for that after i moved it, and realised the page was trying to update too many times (hence cpu useage)laulau wrote:Since version 1.5.0<body onload="init()"> must be <body>Updated gauges-ssT.htm (+ translations)

I hope I won't get struck down for swearing in here but I use...wait for it...
Weather Display...aaarrrgh!
I know it's a long shot but I'm aware that some of you use both WD and Cumulus, and I am wondering whether anyone has successfully got this up and running with Weather Display? This is such an incredible application, and it would be amazing to prepare a page that can display live data on an iPad.
Thanks in advance,
Simon

Re: SteelSeries Gauges - version 1.0
Simon, if you don't want to rewrite gauges.js, then any software that can create the realtimegauges.txt file can be used. I do not know of anyone using WD (yet), but I have seen someone use the gauges with a Linux based package. You just have to find all the equivalents of the Cumulus web tags I use.
Obviously I would not want this forum to become a support thread for WD related questions!

Re: SteelSeries Gauges - version 1.0
Well i am a WD user, sorry for that
, i found the steelseries gauges on the internet, and then stumbled again upon them on the cumulus forum.
After reading the thread i thought it wouldn't be that diificult to implement.
After some hours off changing tags, ouch what a work, i finally succeeded.

Many thanks Mark! You did an awesome job!

Re: SteelSeries Gauges - version 1.0
Sure it updates at a frequency of 5 seconds, but the weather is so boring here.
Very cold, a high baro and no wind. So not much to see.
I like the way everything can be configured. It is possible to depend the solar scale units on the current max solar.
So at night the solar scale is blank, and when the sun starts shining the scale starts. In cumulus thats the <#CurrentSolarMax> tag.
